Scene three is perhaps the most politically powerful and passion-evoking vignette in the film. Entitled "Jerome Goes to Hell," it features a newscaster (Bill Jones) telling the viewing audience that municipal supervisor Jerome (Zeff Ryan) has suffered a stroke, and he is not expected to survive. Next, we find Jerome in a comatose state on a metal staircase that presumably leads to Hell. Standing above him are an angel (Pipi Chess) and God (J. Market). God tells Jerome he was so "nasty and awful" that he's going to Hell for his sins.

The halfway point to Hell looks like a Fellini-esque setting from Satyricon! Naked and almost naked men writhe here. Jerome is introduced to several of these men, including some of those he met during his hateful career: a homeless person (Tom White) and promising athlete who didn't make it to the Olympics because he was gay.

Jerome sucks dick, has his dick sucked, and is fucked, by the athlete (David Grant). Intense vocalizations, orgiastic positions, and an overall atmosphere of hellishness combine to establish an imaginative segment that's important for its political and social messages, as well as for its fantastical sex appeal.
